Discover Elindra's daily yoga routine: 7 minutes to revitalize body and mind with the 5 Tibetans.

In our time-poor society, where mental health is essential, a short but intense yoga practice can be the ideal solution to finding balance. Discover how this approach can reshape your body and calm your mind, leaving you feeling calm and revitalized.

Every morning, I carefully select my yoga clothes. I slip on my high-waisted leggings and tank top from the ultimcomfort 7 in tencel, an exceptionally soft, eco-friendly material. Choosing the right outfit is essential for a successful yoga practice. It helps me to prepare myself mentally for an enriching and soothing yoga session.

" What I appreciate most of all is the softness of the tencel that envelops my skin, offering unparalleled comfort during my sessions. The combination of the softness of the tencel and the flattering fit of the high-waisted leggings creates the ideal environment for a harmonious yoga practice. " Sabine V.

Once I'm ready, I unroll my mat in my living room and begin by performing a series of exercises known as the " 5 Tibetans ". The 5 Tibetans are a series of dynamic yoga exercises, particularly effective for strengthening the abdominal muscles while promoting mental relaxation. The 5 Tibetans, also known as the "Fountain of Youth", are a series of exercises that are meant to be practiced daily to promote health and vitality. These exercises consist of five specific movements performed in a precise order, designed to stimulate the body's vital energy, strengthen muscles and improve flexibility.

  • The circle: The first movement involves turning the body in a circular motion, extending the arms laterally.
  • the candle: lying on your back, the second movement is to raise your legs upwards while lifting your head.
  • The half-moon: On your knees, toes flexed, inhale and tilt your chest back a little to look up at the sky.
  • Bridge: The fourth movement consists of forming an upside-down table position, with the body supported by the hands and feet, and the hips raised skyward.
  • Head down dog and head up dog: The last movement is a variation on the head-down dog in traditional yoga. It involves forming an inverted V with the body, placing the hands and feet on the floor and raising the hips upwards.

Finally, I allow myself a moment of meditation, to calm my mind and connect with my breath. This morning routine allows me to start my day with energy and clarity of mind, ready to face whatever life throws at me.

Before I discovered this practice, I used to work out at the gym 2 or 3 times a week. Since incorporating the 5 Tibetans into my routine, I've noticed a marked improvement in my musculature. The dynamic exercises in this series of movements have strengthened my abdominal muscles and deep muscles more effectively than my previous fitness sessions. This physical and mental transformation has convinced me of the effectiveness and value of the 5 Tibetans in my daily fitness routine.

I strongly encourage you to seek out additional information if you have any questions about the exercises presented in the article.

Good practice!

Elindra
